On green onyx stepped plinth, figuring the winning moment of the race as the three first horses, No 7, 18 and 14 pass the finishing line, the terrace textured to simulate the grass, in the background the finishing post with gating, the plinth applied with a silver plaque engraved with inscription, fully marked
241/2 (62 cm.) long
gross weighable silver 280 oz. 7 dwt. (8,720 gr.)
The inscription reads: 'WINDSOR LAD WINNING THE DERBY STAKES 1934/ FROM EASTON & COLOMBO/ RIDDEN BY C. SMIRKE/ TRAINED BY M. MARSH/ OWNERS/ H. H. THE MAHARAJA OF RAJPIPLA'.
