A GREEN JADE 'MYTHICAL BEAST' VASE AND A COVER

QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The vase is decorated on either side with taotie masks below pendent lappets on the neck, which is flanked by angular scroll-form handles. The vase is supported on the back of a mythical winged beast standing on a shaped base. The stone is of a greyish-green tone with speckles of black and white.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
