NORTHWEST CHINA, 2ND MILLENNIUM BC

The axe has two large hafting holes each drilled from one side near the tang. Together with a large, flat, olive-green jade axe, Southeast China, 3rd millennium BC, probably reshaped in antiquity, which has a small hole and the remains of a second small hole at the hafting end, and features remnants of numerous cutting marks.
