Lot 65 | A GROUP OF FIVE TSUBA
- The first a square iron tsuba with indented corners with two boar's-eye openings (inome bori), pierced with a lattice and inlaid in brass, silver and copper with cherry blossoms before scrolls
- The second a circular iron sukashi tsuba pierced in the form of a wheel
- The third circular iron positively pierced with a persimmon fruit, the stalk with ishime pattern
- The fourth a circular iron bishu tsuba pierced, chased and engraved with a large radish (daikon), the tail of the radish forming a circle and touching the leaves at the top, droplets of dew inlaid in brass to each side, applied shakudo rim
- The fifth an Echizen oval iron sukashi tsuba pierced and engraved with foliage, signed to the reverse Echizen ju Kinai saku (made by Kinai, living in Echizen)
