Comprising a covered cup, realistically cast as a horse's hoof with a horseshoe, the handle cast as two branches, maker's mark Ionas Auvin, St Petersburg, 1859; a caviar jar, cylindrical, the body with basketweave design, with a detachable cover, maker's mark Cyrillic 'KV', St Petersburg, 1878; a tea caddy, of shouldered square form, engraved with two Oriental and two floral cartouches, with detachable cover and cork stopper, engraved with French inscription, mark of Fabian Allenius, St Petersburg, 1870; a large beaker, tapering cylindrical, chased with geometric motifs, the spreading foot with French inscription 'St Petersburg 19 Fevrier 1875', maker's mark indistinct, St Petersburg, 1874; a cigar box, chased with trompe l'oeil tax bands, interior gilt, mark of Nikolai Kemper, St Petersburg,1899-1904; a small cigar box, chased with trompe l'oeil tax bands, interior gilt, mark of Alexander Mukhin, Moscow, 1879
