Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay and rear visor with red underlay; gilt: cross spike base, rear spine, fluted spike and front visor trim; gilt officer front plate of Hessian lion with small Beamte lion, attached by two vertical screw posts; gilt rounded chin scales with rosette side posts, Officer Imperial and Hessian cockades; dark brown leather sweatband.
