A LARGE CARVED 'CHICKEN BONE' JADE SNUFF BOTTLE

1750-1850

Of rounded rectangular form, the bottle is carved on one side with two fruiting peach sprays, with the trailing leaves of one cascading down the reverse. The stone is suffused with a faint crackle and has pinkish, dark-grey and purplish markings on the side with the decoration.

2 13⁄16 in. (7.1 cm.) high, amethyst stopper

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
