The façade with six open compartments, the sides inlaid with scrolling foliage with rosettes to corners and centred by a mask of Democritus on a gadrooned plinth 'with' further squared rosettes, stamped 'E LEVASSEUR' twice and once 'JME', with label to the rear inscribed L'E GARDE MEUBLE PUBLIC / 18 Rue St Augustin / 25269 / BEDEL & Cie', re-using some earlier carcase timbers
