The serpentine moulded Rouge Royale marble top above two drawers, each with rocaille and foliate handles and a central rocaille escutcheon, the waved apron with shell-centred mount trailed by foliate scrolls, the angles with cabochon, rocaille and foliate mounts, on tapering legs with acanthus leaf adorned lion's paw feet, with label inscribed 'no. 12 / Commode du bois / d'amarante pour / une table de / griotte de flandres'
