Blue-grey fine tricot wool, privately tailored with open collar, pleated breast pockets with straight flaps, waist bag pockets with straight pocket flaps, four-button front, French cuffs. Silver finish pebbled buttons, loops on left breast pocket for four awards, ribbon bar loops above pocket. Collar tabs indicate rank of Major, wreath surrounding a single gull at centre embroidered in silver-aluminum over red backing, edge piped in silver-aluminum twist cord, hand-applied. Major rank shoulder boards of interwoven brite silver-aluminum cords with five-bends at each side on red backing, at centre gold-colored metal cipher with intertwined initials "AS", indicating Anti-Aircraft school. Right breast with early-style droop tail officer eagle, hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum over blue-grey backing, hand-applied. Lined in blue-grey rayon with white striped sleeve linings, edged weapon suspension strap and internal waist belt. Magdeburg tailor label/name tag attached to inside pocket, officer name and date illegible. Repair on the back of left sleeve.
Regiment 52 was raised in Magdeburg and commanded by Major Waldemar Lauterbach from September of 1944 until May of 1945. All previous commanders of this Regiment held the rank of Oberst raising the possibility that this uniform may have belonged to Major Waldemar Lauterbach. Magdeburg had extensive flak fortifications all around as it was a major bombing target.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
