Each spherical and mounted with strapwork, the bodies chased with grotesque masks within scrolls, with two scrolled handles and raised on a conforming circular foot, the hinged domed covers with scrolled foliate border and baluster finial, with openings for spoons at the edge, engraved one one side of the cover with a coronet and on the other with a cypher in c-scroll cartouches, one marked on underside and rim, the other with a 'P' in a cartouche on the rim and engraved 'WA' on the underside
