Keulemans, each in two states, hand coloured and uncoloured, 3 with pencil instructions to printers ("...too dark...print a little darker"), 2 with altered pastedown captions, plate of Weigalls Roller in 3 states, 2 of them coloured, one with additional bird in background, contemporary red morocco gilt, Dresser emblem in gilt to upper cover, gilt edges, marbled endpapers, some light spotting, extremities slightly rubbed

DRESSER'S OWN COPY, AND UNIQUE: ALL THE COLOURED IN THIS COPY ARE THE "MASTER PLATES" HAND-COLOURED BY KEULEMANS HIMSELF.
