The columns modeled as Chinese Export figures wearing long robes, one painted in famille verte enamels and holding a vase, the other painted in famille rose enamels, wearing a flowered robe tied with a blue sash and with a blue ribbon in his hair, holding a persimmon flower, each standing on two inverted Arita porcelain saucer dishes painted with iron-red and blue flowers, the heads mounted with large chased gilt-metal flower-form nozzles with curling petals, the mounted bases applied with masks
