Each with shell-carved cresting above a vasiform splat, each front rail carved with a stylized shell in a cartouche, the cabriole legs with shell-carved knees and claw-and-ball feet, one frame stamped 'I', its drop-in seat covered in associated floral petit-point needlework circa late seventeenth/early eighteenth century, the other frame stamped 'VII', its drop-in seat later and slightly too large for its frame and covered in petit-point and gros-point needlework, possibly also later; the chair stamped 'VII' with remnants of paper label inscribed in ink, 'forty one / 41', and chair 'I' with similar label fragment inscribed in ink, 'one'; minor variations to carving between the chairs

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
