Each mirror topped with the Giffard family crest, a panther's head breathing fire from its ears and mouth, above a shell and foliate frieze and pounced strapwork frame, each fitted with a pair of lacquered brass sconces, the mirror plates later, the candle-arms and backplates replaced, with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inventory label
