Each crest rail centred by an inverted shell-carved tablet, the vase-shaped splat joined to the uprights by foliate clasps, the balloon-shaped drop-in seat covered in contemporary floral needlework, on shell-headed cabriole legs with flowerhead-carved ears, on claw-and-ball feet, engraved with numerals V and III, originally part of a larger set
