ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS, CIRCA 1785

Each with oval back enclosing a pierced anthemion, above a padded serpentine seat upholstered in blue and brown acorn-pattern fabric, flanked by foliate-carved and scrolling arms, the fluted apron on ring-turned tapering fluted legs, brass caps and castors, re-decorated, minor restorations, with batten carrying holes, cramp locations and later blocks
