On square stepped base with canted corners, the baluster stem terminating with four reeded scroll branches and central central light, engraved underneath with the crowned monogram of King George VI, marked underneath and on sockets, with maker's stamp and date 1939

380 oz. 15 dwt. (11,844 gr.)
The candelabra are engraved on the underside with the date 1939 and the monogram of George VI who, as reigning monarch, was the Admiral of the Fleet from 1936 until his death in 1952.
