A PAIR OF IMPERIAL LEMON-YELLOW-ENAMELLED CUPSYONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)The cups are of ‘bubble’ shape and delicately potted with shallow sides rising from a small foot ring. The exterior is covered in a vibrant pale lemon-yellow enamel stopping just above the foot and mouth rim.3 7⁄8 in. (9.9 cm) diam.
