Each plain rectangular, the hinged cover enamelled with a crest, with cedar-wood lining, and dark brown leather base, marked on lid and base; together with a George III silver meat skewer with mark of Solomon Houghman, London, 1809, with octagonal ring handle and engraved with a crest and dates 1952-1972, marked on stem; together with a George VI silver-mounted 11th Hussars Badge
The boxes 4. 1/4 in. (11 cm.) wide; the skewer 12 1/4 in. (31 cm.) long
weight of the skewer 3 oz. 1 dwt. (96 gr.)
The crests are those of Eden.
