Each with a male or female figure standing atop a flattened domed cover, two figures of bound prisoners of war seated at each side on the gilt gadrooned rim and flanking a stylized diaper-pattern lappet, Victory as a virtually nude male standing beside a seated lion or snarling dog and holding aloft a striped drape, Peace as a female figure wearing flowered skirt and puce cuirasse, a laurel wreath in her hair, standing beside a lamb and holding aloft a green drape; the cylindrical vase molded and applied with two figures of putti at the sides holding blue cornucopiae spilling flowers between a molded upper band of lappets and lower band of gadroons, fantasy birds flying above, on short spreading circular socle, the interior boldly painted with orange and purple flowering branches typical of Du Paquier
