A parade tunic for a captain in the infantry regiment ‘Großdeutschland’
Infantry officer's tunic, custom-made by Sartotius, Helmarshausen, with the regiment's special insignia, introduced 15 September 1939, based on the style of the guard uniforms of the Old Army: the dark green collar with long, double silver-embroidered "Gardelitzen" (guard braids), the cuffs with dark green Neuchâtel or French cuffs and silver-embroidered patches, the sewn-on shoulder boards with gold GD insignia, and the special cuff band with silver-woven Gothic lettering for the tunic. Attached parade cord, pinned EKI and IAB in silver.

Waffenrock für Infanterieoffiziere, eine Maßanfertigung von Sartotius, Helmarshausen, mit den ab 1939 eingeführten besonderen Effekten des Regiments nach Art der Gardeuniformen der Alten Armee: der dunkelgrüne Kragen mit langen doppelten silberngestickten "Gardelitzen", die Ärmelaufschläge mit dunkelgrünen Neuchâteler bzw. Französischen Aufschläge und silbern gestickten Patten, die vernähten Schulterstücke mit goldenen GD-Auflagen, sowie das spezielle, petrolfarbene Ärmelband mit silberngewebter gotischer Schrift für den Waffenrock. Anhängende Paradeschnur, angestecktes EK 1 und ISA in Silber.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
