The serpentine and eared campan melange marble top with moulded edge above two panelled long drawers framed by ormolu encadrements with foliate-cast handles, the top drawer centered by a ribbon-tied mask of Diana, the bottom drawer by a shell issuing trailing foliage above a conformingly-mounted draped apron, the shaped panelled sides with removable doors centred by a trailing cabochon mount flanked by two chimeras concealing keyhole, the angles headed by chutes cast with acanthus, double C-scrolls and trailing husks, on tapering cabriole legs terminating in paw feet; the handles stamped with C couronné poinçons and applied circa 1745-49
