The form fashioned after an Egyptian river boat, raised on crocodile legs, the headboard decorated on either side with the mask of a Vestal Virgin within a laurel-leaf wreath, the reeded sides terminating in a scallop shell footboard, the caned seat covered with loose tiger print velvet cushion and bolster pillow together with a black leather throw pillow and buff-striped cushion, the bed overall re-decorated
