MARK OF HESTER BATEMAN, LONDON, 1788

Each formed as a barrel with applied hoops and engraved staves, engraved with inscription, and numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5, marked on tops and bases

4 1/2 in. (11.4 cm.) high

17 oz. 7 dwt. (541 gr.)

The inscriptions read, 'Nanney 1787' and 'Hengwrt 1788'.

Robert Howell Vaughan (1723-1792), later 1st Bt., of Nannau and Hengwrt, co. Merioneth, then by descent,
