Each with a shaped toprail carved with acanthus motifs, the shoulders embellished with cabochons above moulded uprights, flanking a pierced interlaced splat carved with C-scrolls and rockwork motif, the padded seat covered in close-nailed sage silk damask, the paneled square chamfered legs filled with blind fret carving of bells and rosettes, on block feet, joined by square and chamfered stretchers, originally with pierced angle-brackets
