Comprising eight side chairs and a pair of armchairs, each with a waved toprail above a pierced interlaced splat, the arms with serpentine arms and shaped supports carved with foliage, above a padded drop-in seat covered in green silk floral damask, the seat-rail carved with C-scrolls, trellis and foliate-cartouches, on acanthus-carved cabriole legs with claw-and-ball feet, the drop-in seat-frames original, seven with original webbing and scrim, one frame inscribed 'PAV' beside a naïve drawing of a house, another frame inscribed 'the elbow for York (?) Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
