In three sizes, each oval with gadrooned borders, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on the reverse, further engraved underneath with scratch weights 58=5, 68=12 and 69=19
171/2 in. (44.3 cm.), 183/4 in. (47.5 cm.) and 19 in. (48.5 cm.) wide
187 oz. 8 dwt. (5,830 gr.)
The arms are those of Greville impaling Bentinck quartering Cavendish, for Captain Charles Greville (1762-1832) and his wife, Lady Charlotte Cavendish-Bentinck (d.1862), daughter of William, 3rd Duke of Portland (1738-1809),  whom he married in 1793. Their eldest son was the social and political diarist Charles Cavendish Fulke Greville (1794-1865).
