Each of oblong section on scrolling base, chased with Chinese figures and buildings, lions' masks and quatrefoils within scroll panels, the plain sliding covers and the hinged cover with shell and scroll borders and flower finials; together with twelve teaspoons with leaf-shaped bowls and stems applied with insects, unidentified maker's mark J.D. with trefoil above and a pair of matching sugar tongs, marked on bases and covers, and spoon handles; all in silver-mounted fish-skin box, with silver feet, lock-plate and handle, marked on bases, covers and spoon and spoon handles
