Of a flattened pear shape, the bottle is carved on one side with a horse standing amidst swirling clouds, beneath a four-chraacter inscrption reading longma futu (the dragon-horse carries the eight trigrams on his back), with a yin yang symbol resting on a column of vapor rising from behind the horse. The reverse is carved with a crane in flight, with vapor rising from waves towards a pavilion in the clouds.
