The Sudanese Order of the Republic was established on November 16, 1961, and awarded to citizens and foreigners who provided great service to the state in five classes. There are two types of the order, the earlier Governor issue and the later Democratic Republic issue with the Republic suspension. This Grand Commander set is of the 1st type with the rhino suspension and is made from silver and enamel. Contained in grey leather case of issue, brass latch closures, inside of light-green velvet raised platform, lined in cream rayon with famous jeweler Garrard & Co. in London manufacturer logo in gold foil. Medal diameter ca. 62 mm (excluding suspension loop), neck ribbon length ca. 81 cm. Breast award diameter ca. 98 mm. Box ca. 28 x 16 x 4.5 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
