A VERY FINE SILVER-GILT-MOUNTED BREAST ICON SHOWING ST. SERGEY OF RADONEZH Russian, St. Petersburg, Sazikov, circa 1855 Oil on metal. The silver-gilt mount with engine turning. Marked on the reverse with city hallmark, 84 standard, firm's mark 'SASIKOV' in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant and medals of the 1851 Great Exhibition in London with the profiles of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Minor losses. 7.8 x 5.7 cm.

Verso punziert mit Stadtmarke, Feingehalt '84', kyrillischer Firmenmarke 'SASIKOW' mit Hoflieferantenzeichen und Doppelkopfstempel. Min. Farbabsplitterungen. Die Doppelkopfmarke mit den Porträts von Königin Viktoria und Prinzgemahl Albert verweist auf die Goldmedaille, die Sasikow auf der Weltausstellung 1851 in London gewonnen hatte.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
