NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (AD 960-1234)

The washer is molded on the interior with a pair of fish swimming in tandem amidst frothing waves, encircled by two sinuous chilong on the rounded sides below a keyfret border and unglazed rim. It is covered overall with a translucent glaze of pale ivory tone.
