The highly decorated case, surmounted by a scrolling handle over a rectangular bevelled glass inspection panel with repeat button and four acorn finials, over column supports on a plinth base with bun feet, the four inch silvered dial with Roman chapter ring, with subsidiary centre seconds above, the three train chain fusee movement with chronometer bi-metallic, compensated balance, with helical spring, striking on three coiled blued-steel gongs and three hammers
