KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
Representing the tenth lunar month, the cup is finely decorated on one side with a blossoming hibiscus tree and is inscribed on the other side with a short poem referencing evening rain and flowers in the mists. Together with a wucai 'lotus' 'month' cup with ducks, Kangxi six-character mark within a double circle and of the period (1662-1722), representing the sixth lunar month.
