1987. Bronze. H. 77 cm. Sign., numbered copy 6/7, foundry mark SCHMÄKE DÜSSELDORF. Four-part stele-like sculpture from the 'Erhaben' series in the artist's very own archaic formal language - erman sculptor and draughtsman. Studied 1970-71 at the Kunsthoschule in Kassel. Teaching position 1976-78 at the art academy in Düsseldorf. He created his first artistic works from natural materials such as earth. He later worked with plaster and bronze. He added drawings in the mid-1970s and works on paper from the 1980s onwards. In his works, he reflects the impressions of foreign cultures from his travels and allows this to flow into his abstract visual language. Participates in Dokumenta 5 and 7 in Kassel. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
