Copy from around 1905 of the work by the monastery preceptor and later abbot Johann Konrad Ergenzinger on the Blaubeuren monastery entitled PRIMUM AC TENUE HISTORIAE MONASTERII BLABYRENSIS RUDIMENTUM 1095-1747 CURA ET STUDIO M. JOHANN. CUNRADI ERGEZINGERI. BLABYRAE 1747. After the volume of the historical manuscripts of the Royal. public Library of Stuttgart, the author dedicated this work, which was mainly based on the files of the seminar registry, to Reg.R. Fr. Frommann, who initiated the drafting of the same. Ergenzinger was then monastery preceptor (1723-59), later he became abbot (1759-62). The copy was made in handwriting with some hand drawings by K. Baur Blaubeuren. According to the consignor's statement, which cannot be checked, this copy is said to have a larger content than the well-known original. Signs of age and use.
