Schlanke, aber kräftige Vierkantklinge, die untere Hälfte mit abgeflachtem Mittelgrat und versetzt angeordneten Mulden von schmalen Zügen flankiert. Parierstange, Hilze und Knauf aus Achat mit Zwingen aus Silber mit Akanthusdekor. Kleine Beschädigung im Mittelteil der Parierstange, winzige Fehlstelle an der unteren Griffzwinge. Länge 37 cm.
Wunderschöner, kunstvoller Dolch aus der Kunst- und Wunderkammer eines barocken Fürsten.

An agate-mounted Italian stiletto, 2nd half of the 17th century
Slender, yet sturdy blade of diamond section, the lower half with a flattened medial ridge and hollows arranged in a staggered pattern, flanked by narrow lines. The quillons, grip and pommel made of agate, the silver ferrules with acanthus ornaments. Minor damage to the central section of the quillons, a tiny flaw on the lower grip ferrule. Length 37 cm.
An exquisite, ornate dagger from a baroque prince's Kunstkammer and cabinet of curiosities.
