Nieuw Nederlandsch Biografisch Woordenboek II, 7/8. Cf. - Forum, Catalogue 100, Children's world of Learning V, 2176 (hier eine 1851 gedruckte Version von Anslijn's Reekenboek). - Nicolaas Anslijn (1777-1838) ist der Autor zahlreicher populärer Schulbücher, die erste gedruckte Ausgabe seiner arithmetischen Schrift erschien in vier Teilen zwischen 1804 und 1807. Die vorliegende Manuskriptversion, die eine überarbeitete Version der gedruckten Ausgabe mit Lösungen für die arithmetischen Probleme zu sein scheint, wurde von Jacobus Acquoy, einem Mathematiklehrer und Kalligraphen aus Amsterdam und Gründungsmitglied der mathematischen Gesellschaft Wiskundig Genootschap, geschrieben. Er wird auch als Autor eines Werkes über die Buchführung von Koopmans comptoir en handboekje (Amst. 1768) bezeichnet. - Teil 1 hat kein Titelblatt, Seiten am äußeren Rand leicht gebräunt. Insgesamt ein schönes Exemplar in ausgezeichnetem Gesamtzustand. - 1 Bl. mit Prägest. - Nicolaas Anslijn (1777-1838) was an author of numerous popular school books, the first printed edition of his arithmetic primer was published in four parts between 1804 and 1807. This manuscript version which seems to be a revised version of the printed edition with solutions for the arithmetical problems was written by Jacobus Acquoy, a teacher of mathematics and calligrapher from Amsterdam and a founding member of the mathematical society Wiskundig Genootschap. - Cont. straight-grained morocco spine over springled paper boards, gilt title to spine (slightly rubbed). - No title-page to part one, pages slightly browned at the outer margins, a fine copy in excellent overall condition. *
