First official printing of the Acts of the Second U.S. Congress, in original sewn sheets. Scarce. Acts pertain to the establishment of the census, the Ohio territory, a copyright library, and the permanent capitol of the United States; also making provisions for national debt and payments to veterans. Also included are the Definitive Treaty of Peace between the United States of America and his Brittanic Majesty and treaties with France, the Netherlands, the Six Nations, the Cherokee, the Choctaw Nation, Morocco, and others. The treaties with Native American nations substantially expanded the territory of the United States in the west and south. Evans 22952.
Folio (340 x 210mm). Table of Contents leaf at end. Each Act signed in type by George Washington as President, John Adams as Vice President and Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg as Speaker of the House. (Some corners at ends rounded/chipped, tear to O2 touching text, brown stain on lower margin encroaching on text in the middle half of the pages, small mold-spot to title and following few leaves, light spots to title, marginal tear to last several leaves at bottom.) Stitched into plain wrapper covers, deckle edges preserved.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
