Orientalische Tänzerin
Vergoldete Bronze; Elfenbein, geschnitzt. Marmor-Plinthe. Beschwingt und graziös tanzende junge Frau in einem phanatsievollen orientalischen Kostüm, mit ihrer rechten Hand einen flammenartig wehenden Schleier emporhaltend. Die in mehreren Versionen bekannte, im Detail sehr fein ausgeführte Chryselphantine-Figur gehört zu den bekanntesten Schöpfungen des Bildhauers. Gory studierte an der Akademie in Florenz bei Augusto Rivalta und Anfang des 20. Jhs. in Paris bei Victorien-Antoine Bastet. Bis 1914 stellte er im Salon vorwiegend Büsten und Statuetten junger Frauen aus, er war auf Chryselephantine-Skulpturen sowie Kombinationen von Marmor mit vergoldeter und patinierter Bronze spezialisiert. Ges.-H. 45,5 cm.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
