Formé à l’école des Beaux-Arts, puis dans l’atelier du sculpteur Georges Achard, Pierre Albert-Birot maintient une pratique artistique et manuelle tout au long de sa vie, parallèlement à l’écriture. Le Catalogue de l’Antiquaire réunit les différents intérêts du poète qui, dès 1900, travaille également comme restaurateur d’objets d’art chez une antiquaire. Les bulletins de souscription au verso desquels il rédige ce texte évoquent sa collaboration avec Apollinaire sur la pièce Les Mamelles de Tirésias, jouée quelques années auparavant.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
