Bogenschütze
Bronze, dunkelolivfarben patiniert. Behauener Steinsockel in Felsform. Es sind eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Güsse dieses Modells bekannt, die Kombination mit Felssockel ist typisch für Pina, die gerne die Textur von Naturstein verwendete - hier mit der in den Stein hineingearbeiteten, athletischen Aktfigur des Bogenschützen. Inspiriert worden sein dürfte Pina hierzu durch die 1909 geschaffene, bekannte Plastik "Herakles der Bogenschütze" von Antoine Bourdelle. Der italienische Bildhauer ging 1911 nach Paris, wo er Schüler Auguste Rodins wurde. Pina stellte bis 1914 auf den verschiedenen Salons in Paris aus. Nach dem I. Weltkrieg konnte er an seine früheren Erfolge anknüpfen, ein Atelier in Paris lag in Montparnasse neben dem Bourdelles, ein zweites zur Realisierung seiner großen Denkmäler-Aufträge in Mesves-sur-Loire mit angeschlossenem Steinbruch.
