First Italian edition in good condition of this book about the 1909 expedition with the portfolio of panoramas and maps. The same year the first English edition was published in New York.

2 volumes, 4to (257 x 197mm). K2 photographic title page and various photographic plates by Vittorio Sella. Portfolio containing 3 maps and 18 photographic panoramas on 17 folded sheets. The first in binding and the second in a uniform portfolio in half vellum with plates in decorated paper and spine titled in gold (slightly stained).
