'Amaryllis', 1931, Wassertempera mit Kreide auf Japanpapier, 39 cm x 26,5 cm Blattmaß, unten mittig rechts datiert und monogrammiert, rückseitig von Helene Rohlfs beschriftet, Werkverzeichnis Paul Vogt, S. 192, Nr. 60, mit Expertise von Paul Vogt, Provenienz: Frau Helen Rohlfs, Galerie Neher, Rechnung der Buchhandlung und Galerie Neher anbei; Christian Rohlfs war ein deutscher Maler der Moderne. Er geht 1870 auf Anraten des Malers Ludwig Pietsch zur Großherzogliche Kunstschule in Weimar. Er studiert bei dem Historien- und Porträtmaler Paul Thumann. In dieser ersten Phase produzierte er hauptsächlich naturalistische Werke. Prominenz aber erlangte er, bei aller Eigenständigkeit, in den beiden bedeutenden Stilrichtungen seiner Epoche, zunächst dem Impressionismus und später dem Expressionismus, und wurde so zum \Nestor der deutschen Moderne\". Ab 1884 arbeitete er als freiberuflicher Künstler in Weimar. Auf Einladung von Karl Ernst Osthaus zog er 1901 nach Hagen, wo er an der Folkwangschule unterrichtete. 1908 folgt er Osthaus in den Sonderbund. 1924 ehrte man ihn in Berlin mit der Mitgliedschaft in der Preußischen Akademie der Künste. Als entarteter Künstler wurde er am 7. Januar 1938, einen Tag vor seinem Tod, von der Preußischen Akademie der Künste ausgeschlossen. """

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
