THE PORCELAIN LATE MING DYNASTY, WANLI PERIOD (1573-1620), THE MOUNTS ENGLISH, PROBABLY LAST QUARTER 16TH CENTURY
The circular cup painted with flowering branches, the upper mount chased with foliate scrolls and strapwork and connected to the stem with vertical straps cast as male term figures, raised on a baluster-form stem and spreading circular foot chased with bosses and gadroons, apparently unmarked
4 ½ in. (11.4 cm.) high
