Doppeltes Kowtscheg, Eitempera auf Kreidegrund, Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg. Finely executed in great detail. The omophorion of the saint showing the Annunciation and the Nativity of Christ. The metal-gilt oklad richly engraved and chased. The lower border of the oklad partially cut, dirty surface, losses. On the reverse two labels 'GIM' in Cyrillic with inventory numbers. 31.5 x 28.5 cm. Okladrand teils entfernt. As the labels on the back prove, this icon was once owned by the State Historical Museum in Moscow. Almost certainly, this icon is one of those numerous examples legitimately sold abroad by the Soviet government in the 1920s and 1930s.

Doppeltes Kowtscheg, Eitempera auf Kreidegrund, partielle Vergoldung. Vergoldeter Metalloklad. 31,5 x 28,5 cm. Verso zwei alte Klebeetiketten mit Inventarnummern des Staalichen Historischen Museums 'GIM' in Kyrillisch. In feiner Malerei ausgeführte Ikone mit detailreicher Ausarbeitung der Gewänder mit Verkündigung und der Geburt Christi. Der Oklad ist fein getrieben und graviert. Unterer Okladrand teils entfernt. Wie die Etiketten der Rückseite belegen, befand sich diese Ikone einst im Besitz des Staatlich Historischen Museums in Moskau. Mit großer Sicherheit ist diese Ikone eine jener zahlreichen Beispiele, die durch die Sowjetregierung legitimiert in den 1920er und 1930er Jahren ins Ausland verkauft wurde.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
