Of baluster form, decorated with red and black enamels and gilt over underglaze blue with two birds in flight beside peonies, a further two birds perched amongst blossoming cherry branches, the neck and rim of the cover with stylised peaches and clouds, on a canted square ormolu base, with later pleated shade, drilled and wired for electricity
