Oil/canvas/cardboard. 65 x 49 cm. Unframed. Lo. middle sign. A. A. Gde Sobrat Padangtegal ubud Bali. Inconspicuous scratches. - Indonesian painter. S. learned to make the figures for the traditional Balinese shadow puppet theater as a child. He was one of the first Indonesian artists to come into contact with Walter Spies and Rudolf Bonnet and thus with European painting, making him a pioneer of modern Balinese painting. S. taught at the art academy in Yogyakarta from 1957-59. Mus.: Ubud, Amsterdam, Leiden.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
