Description: This gravestone shows Hefner and his wife Hek sitting at a table, with their son, who
donated the gravestone, standing on the right side of the table, along with his younger
brothers, who are bringing geese to their parents..
Measurement: 40x70x4cm.
Mark: Back side coin pressed in plaster by the State Plaster Moulding Works Berlin, No.907 handwritten in black.
The original of this cast, which comes from Abydos, is in the collection of the Egyptian
Museum of the Berlin State Museums - Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. It dates from
the Middle Kingdom period, which lasted from approximately 2040 to 1781 BC.
